Around 24-25 of april Rossano ancient area is illuminated by fires in each Rossano neighboorhood. It’s a tradition started in 1836 when Rossano had a very strong earthquake and its inhabitants where so scared that they runaway from their houses and spent the night out, because it was pretty chilly they started fires to warm up. San Marco fire is a very nice event because tourists can walk around Rossano see the fires and try in each area something to eat that the people living there cook.
